Join Nottingham Leander Swimming Club
The club is based in Nottingham City and South Nottinghamshire (see Pool Locations) and welcomes members from around 6 to Masters who wish to improve their swimming, and those who wish to play Water Polo.

Leander is the top competitive swimming club in Nottinghamshire. Entry to all club sessions is via a trial. Space on some of our squads is limited, and for swimmers aged 12-18 we are looking for children already competing at a high level.
Non-swimmers for Tadpoles should be 4-7yrs old and we are unable to accommodate older swimmers that cannot yet swim.
Swimmers wanting to join competitive squads should have ranked times at a County level or above.
Development squad swimmers should be Stage 7+ and ideally meet the age/sex criteria outlined below.
Masters swimmers can usually start swimming without a trial.
We would love to hear from you, but unfortunately we can't guarantee places for all swimmers that request one due to the popularity and reputation of Leander.
Tadpoles
For information about learning to swim for young children (‘Tadpoles’), please use the button below to ask for more information. This is for children aged 4-7 as a start age.
Swimming
Swimmers will need to arrange a trial by using the button below. We welcome experienced swimmers at all times, but are particularly looking for boys born in 2010, 2011, 2013-15 and girls born 2014-15.
Masters
Masters swimmers can apply for immediate membership without the need for any assessment. If, however, any swimmer feels they would like a trial session before committing to club membership, this can be arranged.
Water Polo
Water Polo players can apply for immediate membership without the need for any assessment. If, however, any swimmer feels they would like a trial session before committing to club membership, this can be arranged.
